Coach Mike

Coach Mike holds a B.S. in Physical Education and Coaching, with a minor in History and Kinesiology from Western Illinois University. He is a Life Plus Level 4 member of ASCA, a fully certified USA Swimming coach, Swim America Director, and a Level Two Master Swim Coach.  Coach Mike has been coaching over 25 years at both the high school and club levels, in Illinois and Indiana.

 

While in Illinois he owned his own swim lesson business called Clover Swimming with Coach Barb.  The lessons ran out of three different sites and serviced hundreds of kids and adults in learning to swim in the western suburbs of Chicago.  Coach Mike believes that everyone can learn to swim and develop a passion for the skill and sport. Over the years, Coach Mike has taught everyone from infants to adults to love and enjoy the water safely.  He believes that water safety is one of the most important skills to learn.
